It’s a bogus fraud. It assumes that if you wish or pray or whatever hard enough and long enough, you can make the universe bend to your wishes and give you whatever it is you want, like a new house or a new car or a boy/girlfriend or whatever.

It seems to be the epitome of selfishness and self-orientation, and is the opposite of being kind, being helpful, caring about others, and the Golden Rule.

It seems to appeal to young teenagers, who seem tobe full of themselves and think the world should revolve around them and give them anything they want.
