Law of Attraction Tips – 3 Tips to Manifest Your Desires

by Mind Movies on Saturday, January 16th, 2010

Searching for law of attraction tips that actually work is kind of like looking for a needle in a haystack. You can find law of attraction tips all over the place, but most of them will do nothing to produce real results. You know, like more money in your bank account or finding the love of your life.

So, what are some law of attraction tips that actually will work for you?

Here are three tips that should point you in the right direction:

1. Become absolutely clear on what you want to manifest. Clarity is one of the most important principles when using the law of attraction. Manifesting your desires becomes easier when you know how to gain clarity on what it is that you really want and shift your focus AWAY from the things that you do not want.

2. Forget about the idea of manifesting out of thin air. You know, the only people that really promote this idea are those that sell products that claim to give the “magical” power to manifest your desires from absolutely nothing at all. Thing is, the law of attraction works with all the other universal laws and one of those is CAUSE and EFFECT. You have to produce a cause to get an effect.

3. Everyday, take one action to move closer to your dreams. If every single day, you took at least one action towards manifesting your desires, eventually it would have to manifest. So, make it a point to take even the smallest of actions when you can. The law of attraction is all about taking action. Those that tell you otherwise would also probably want you to buy beachfront property…in Nebraska!

The law of attraction is REAL and it does work. However, you have to find the law of attraction tips that produce real results and ignore the ones that just don’t work at all.

Would you like to learn more Law of Attraction tips to manifest your desires?

Here’s How to Use the Law of Attraction for Deliberate Creation

by Mind Movies on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Confused about how to use the Law of Attraction for personal and business success? Many people are. And it’s driving them crazy trying to figure it all out.

It’s even more discouraging when the answers people give you only complicate things. Should you focus specifically on what you want in great detail, or should you concentrate instead on the “essence” of what you want? Or, as some people suggest, is it actually counterproductive to focus at all on what you’re trying to manifest?

Yikes! No wonder there’s so much confusion and frustration around how to use the Law of Attraction!

Get ready to celebrate, because I’m about to reveal the secret that will solve this bewildering problem for you once and for all. It is actually very easy to manifest what you want, once you figure out these two things:

1. How much resistance do you have around that which you want to manifest? Put a number to it using a scale of 0-10, with 0 being none and 10 being a lot.

2. How close do you feel your manifestation is to actually occurring? Very close or sometime in the future?

Once you know these two things, then you’ll be able to figure out which of the three approaches to deliberate creation is right for you.

Three Approaches to Deliberate Creation

First Approach – Hold a specific vision of what you want.

This approach to deliberate creation is perfect if every fiber of your being knows that what you want to manifest is right around the corner—that it’s so close you can taste it.

This is when you can get specific and detailed about what you want.

People who are in this stage of creation have no resistance (level 0), are ready for what they want to manifest, and are in a state of great appreciation about the manifestation. They feel and know that it’s going to manifest very soon.

Second Approach – Find the essence of what you want and feel into it.

“Finding the essence” means identifying the quality that having this thing will give you. For example: the essence of being in a relationship could be happiness, fulfillment, or companionship. The essence of having money could be freedom or ease.

“Feeling into it” means dwelling on the essence of what you want and deeply feeling what it would be like to manifest it.

This approach to deliberate creation is perfect for you if you are experiencing just a little bit or low level of resistance (levels 1-3). It’s also a good approach to use if you have a sense that what you want will manifest in the not-too-distant future.

This approach won’t work for you if you have a lot of resistance (levels 7-10) toward it or feel as if manifestation is far off. You’ll know this is the wrong approach for you if you feel overwhelmed and frustrated with not getting what you want.

Third Approach – Take what you want completely out of the equation and don’t focus on it at all.

This approach to deliberate creation is perfect for you if, every time you think about what you want to manifest, all you can see is that it hasn’t yet manifested. In this case, you have no gut-level knowing that it will manifest anytime soon.

People who are in this stage of deliberate creation have high resistance (levels 7-10), and the balance of their feeling about the manifestation is in the direction of not having it. They are not really ready for manifestation to occur, even though they may want it very, very much.

When you have high resistance, it means you are quite far from manifesting what you want. You may even be in a state of anger, fear, or desperation. If you are finding yourself in a moderate (levels 4-6) or higher state of resistance, then focusing on something specific will only increase that resistance and your feelings of anxiety and doubt.

Therefore, the best thing for you to do is to take what you want completely out of the equation. Don’t even focus on it. Focus on some other aspect of your life that is going well—something that has no (level 0) resistance to it. Once you do, resistance in other areas will lessen. After a time, you’ll be able to focus again on what you want to manifest, perhaps using the second, or even the first, approach to deliberate creation.

There is a lot of confusion surrounding the Law of Attraction and how to use it effectively. The key to using the Law of Attraction successfully is two-fold: recognize how much resistance you have toward manifesting what you want, and determine which of the three approaches to deliberate creation to use in your present situation. Once you know these two things, you will be well on your way to utilizing the Law of Attraction to deliberately create everything you want to manifest.

Universal Law Series – The Law Of Belief

by Mind Movies on Saturday, February 20th, 2010

This is the fourth of seven articles in our continuing series on
Universal Law. The focus of this article is the Law of Belief.

Law of Belief

The Law of Belief states that whatever you believe with feeling
and conviction becomes your reality. It is not until you change
your beliefs that you can begin to change your reality and your
performance.

Another way to state this law is in the context of having faith.
All of the religions of the world talk about one’s ability to
always keep faith, as being a key to happiness and success.
Whether you choose to follow religious dogma or not, the Law of
Belief is something which can either help you achieve success or
keep you from achieving it – depending upon whether you live in
accordance with the law.

You have heard the doubters and the naysayers out there who
always proclaim, “I’ll believe it when I see it!” In reality, it
is the other way around; it is not until you believe it, that
you will see it (no matter what “it” is)!

Self-limiting beliefs are perhaps the most detrimental of all
thoughts, since they absolutely will keep you from the success
that you may want, but don’t believe you can attain. There is an
old saying that states,”whether you think you can or you can’t,
your right!” This saying is completely congruent with the Law of
Belief. Let me explain through the use of the following
hypothetical situation:

You are up for a promotion at work. You have worked hard and
feel you are ready, but do not believe with conviction that you
will get the promotion. Perhaps you feel there are other
candidates that are better or more qualified, or that you are
indispensable in your current role (now there is a misguided
belief!) or it may be some other negative thought pattern. If
these are the beliefs that you are holding in your mind, it is
almost guaranteed that you will not get the promotion. Why?
Because your self-limiting beliefs will conspire to hold you
back!

The Law of Belief, when understood and practiced, can help
anyone to manifest those things in life that they truly want.
The trick is that you need absolute clarity on your objectives;
a solid plan to get you there and then must believe that you are
destined to achieve them. As time passes, you must continuously
reinforce this belief in your own mind.

One of the greatest challenges is to persevere and maintain
focus on your goals, even when faced with seemingly
insurmountable setbacks or obstacles. The interesting thing in
these circumstances is that we tend to observe the world from a
very narrow point of view – which is that obstacle are negative.
In fact, obstacles help us to grow and can be positive!
Sometimes things go awry and it isn’t until much later that we
discover that, whatever the setback was, it was there for good
reason. We learn and become stronger from the experience.

By maintaining faith, by continuing to live in accordance with
the Law of Belief, we are able to achieve our goals, although
the path may be somewhat different than we had originally
thought! If however, we give up at the first sign of trouble, in
other words, our faith or belief fail us, then we can never hope
to reach our goals.

If you can learn to persevere in the face of all obstacles, then
eventually you will create the reality that you desire.

What You Can Do

There are two action exercises, which you can put in place
immediately, to help you in this area:

1. Begin to believe today, that you are destined to be
successful in whatever areas you desire. Get very clear and
focused on your true desires, make plans to achieve them and
then believe, with absolute conviction, that you will achieve
them. The universe will conspire to help you achieve it – once
you believe it!

2. Get into the habit of acting as though you have already
accomplished your goals and are the success you want to be. Your
new behaviours will influence your beliefs, which in turn will
help you to manifest your desires!

There is no mystery to achieving success – it is available to
all of us. One need only be aware of, understand and, most
importantly, live in accordance with, Universal Law! The first
step is in beginning to believe that you will attain the levels
of success that you truly want

Weight Loss and the Law of Attraction

by Mind Movies on Saturday, January 30th, 2010

Depending on the circles that you run in, you may or may not have heard about a very powerful force in your life that is called the Law of Attraction. It’s powers are literally limitless and utilizing those powers is absolutely free of charge!

Who doesn’t want Unlimited Cosmic Power without even having to bust open their wallet?

I will start with a brief introduction to the Law of Attraction, and then I will get right into how you can use this universal power for something that a lot of people care about losing weight!

In simple terms, the Law of Attraction basically states that “like attracts like”. Whatever thoughts and feelings that you focus on the most will literally determine your future.

In fact, the Law of Attraction has already been working for you and every other life form in our universe since the beginning of time. However, only recently has education about its incredible power become readily available to the general public.

So how is it that the Law of Attraction can help you to lose weight? Simple you just need to think about it! Sounds easy enough, right?

Well, it actually is just that easy, but an explanation of exactly how you are supposed to “think” will help you to understand this process better. You can then take that knowledge and use it to help you with your weight loss or fitness goals.

Earlier I said that the Law of Attraction has been working for all life since the beginning of time, which begs the question, “Then why haven’t I lost any weight yet?”. In fact, that same question could be asked about pretty much any other goal that anyone has ever had. If all we have to do is think about something in order to bring it into our lives, then why aren’t we all rich, perfectly healthy, and living happily ever after?

The simple answer is that most people without even knowing it don’t really think about what they want. They think about the fact that they DON’T have it. Now, if you’ll go back briefly to the definition of the Law of Attraction like attracts like then you will see that the reason why people don’t have the things that they want is because all they ever do is think about NOT having those things.

This same concept applies to weight loss and health just as efficiently as it applies to everything else. A lot of people want to lose weight, but rather than think about how wonderful their life will be once they have lost the weight, they instead think about how miserable they are because they HAVEN’T lost the weight!

Think about it. If you need to lose weight, which of the following statements describes your thoughts/feelings when you walk in front of a mirror without any clothes on:

a)I am so sexy since I have my weight under control, and I have an unlimited amount of confidence. I can date anyone that I please and my biggest problem is deciding which little tiny piece of clothing to wear to the beach or the swimming pool.
b)I am so FAT! I can’t even stand to look at myself in the mirror, so how can I expect anyone else to want to look at me? I’ll be lucky if I don’t have to take my clothing size up another notch or two at the rate I’m going.

Now, be honest. Which one of those statements do you think comes closer to the way that people who need to lose weight think of themselves?

Once again referring back to the Law of Attraction If you think miserable, sad, guilty, or low self-esteem powered thoughts, then the Law of Attraction will dutifully bring you more things to be miserable about. In fact, the more miserable you are about any particular subject say, weight loss the more powerfully you will attract more of the same since that is your primary focus.

So, the answer to utilizing the power of the Law of Attraction for weight loss is to simply stop thinking about your situation in such a negative manner! Start thinking positive thoughts, confident thoughts, and thoughts of happiness, smaller clothing sizes, and showing more skin at the beach.

When you successfully do those things, the Law of Attraction will start to move around the chess pieces that affect your life, and before you know it, you will have whatever it is that you need in order to finally get in shape.

It may come in the form of a free gym membership, a workout partner, a piece of home exercise equipment that you actually want to use, a new motivation to get involved in some sort of physical activity, or any number of other things that will put you on the path to weight loss.

Here’s the rub, though You can’t sit around and get hung up on the details. Mike Dooley said it best in the movie ‘The Secret’ “The How’s are the domain of the Universe!”

You don’t need to worry about HOW it is going to happen, you just have to feel the positive, confident emotions that will MAKE it happen. The Universe will then step in and show you the path!

The Law of Attraction – It Does Not Work

by Mind Movies on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

At least not the way it is being taught by the thousands of people on “The Secret” bandwagon. To me a law is measurable, repeatable and predictable.

Let me explain. If I think about having a million dollars in the bank, will it happen just by my focusing on it? I do not think so.

If I dream about a date with Pamela Anderson, I can make it happen. Not likely. Even with the examples above, does the Law of Attraction make sense?

Sure.

Sometimes.

It can help you get clear. It can help you focus. It starts the process of moving towards what you want and moving you away from what you do not want.

So why does it not work for everyone, all the time.

Good question. If I knew I would be teaching that and making millions.

But let me tell you what I know about the Law of Attraction from my personal experience. Many people spend all day thing about what they want. This is good. But they do not think through what it takes to reach their wants; it never makes it to a goal. They never take action.

Let assume the goal is to make a million dollars. You need to ask yourself “How can I make a million dollars?”

You need to understand what you can provide to others that would inspire them to buy from you. “How much do I need to sell and at what price?”

I think it was Zig Ziglar who said “find out what people want and give it to them.”

So what do people want that you can provide?

How do you know they will buy from me? How do you know it has value? What is that value?

You need to do my research and determine what people want. You need to determine what you can provide. You need to determine what you am going to give up too achieve your goal.

If you are not getting the desired results, what are you going to give up so you can replace this nonproductive behavior with a more productive behavior? Einstein was correct when he said “insanity is doing the same things over again and expecting different results.” What insane behavior are you keeping? What do you need to change to achieve you goal.

What steps are you doing to take? Will you give up two hours of television a day and use this time to do research, learn a new skill or create plan?

What education do you need? What people do you need to meet? What skills do you need to develop?

Does the Law of Attraction work?

Yes, I think it does provided…

You clearly define the outcome you want. You set a date on when it will happen. You understand the value you provide to achieve you desired outcome. You take action.

You are emotionally invested in the outcome.

I once hear the term used called “inspired action.” I think it was James Ray who first introduced me into that term.

I think inspired action is critical to any kind of meaningful achievement, especially if you are using the Law of Attraction.

If you are not inspired (emotionally invested in the outcome) you will not take action.

If you decide to take action, you will not stick to you course of action when thing get difficult unless you are inspired.

You will not learn the skills necessary or surround yourself with the right people without inspired action. You will not get out of your comfort zone to take action unless you are inspired.

So how do you answer all these questions? It is easy to discuss them in an article but how do you answer them.

I can only tell you what worked for me. I do not know if this will work for you but I found the answer in a question. Not just any question, but in a very powerful way the question is asked.

If we ask the question “How can I,” the mind has a tendency to focus on one specific outcome. It tries to answer the question how. If we ask this question: “how the chicken can cross the road?” the mind will stop when we answer it. The chicken can cross the road by walking across.

If we change the question to “in what ways can the chicken cross the road?” we are now open to different possibilities. The chicken can cross the road by walking, flying, running, hitching a ride, etc. This type of question allows the mind to be open for possibility. You start to see things in an entirely different light.

Ask yourself this question and have a pencil and paper ready to record the different answers. This question is most effective in a group. I have seen some powerful answers to some difficult questions materialize.

I have successfully (occasionally) used the Law of Attraction. When I analyze why it worked for me, I determined two very important things. The first is the way I asked the question. It is not how, but in what ways. The second aspect that is critical for me is a strong emotion attachment to a specific outcome. Let me give you an example.

Several years ago I lost my job. Shortly after I lost my job my wife was in a traffic accident. Her 10 year old van was destroyed. She was not hurt. Since I was not working I was really worried about spending money on another vehicle even though I knew we needed two vehicles. I did have insurance but the pay-out was too low to replace the car. I was looking at a significant cash outlay to replace this vehicle.

I knew I needed to do something but I was so afraid to act. So afraid I got myself tied up in a knot. After a week of no sleep and lots of anxiety, I decide I needed to do something. I had a few requirements: it has to be newer so I was not being nickled and dimed on repairs and it had to be safe (since my wife would drive it.)

Finally I started looking for a good used car. I went to a car dealer and looked at used cars. I settled on a Ford Taurus. The price was $8500. I thought I was ready to buy. At the last minute I chickened out and left the dealership without making a purchase. On my drive home I knew I needed to trust myself and since I believed in the universal Law of Attraction, I needed to trust that as well. I actually told myself if I really believed this I needed to buy this car and trust everything would work itself out. After all, if I took out a long enough note my payment would be fairly low.

About an hour later, I called the sales representative and told him I would be up to sign the papers. Before I went back to the card dealership, I met some people for lunch. It was then I received the surprise of my life. One person at the table gave me a car. Yes, they gave it to me. It was even a Ford Taurus. Her husband had recently died and she wanted a car that was not so big.

I do not suggest you take this course of action.

Why?

Because I have not been able to implement the Law of Attraction in a measurable, predictable and repeatable fashion.

I think the reason that car manifested was because I had a very strong emotion about addressing this problem, I took action, I did my research and I was very clear on the outcome I wanted. I took action.

I want to spend a minute on why you should not do this.

I spent days worrying about where I was going to get the money. I did not sleep for a week prior to making my decision. I asked myself “in what ways could I” before I settled on the course of action I took. I got my wife involved in the decision and told her my thought process. I did want her to think I had a stack of money somewhere. We were in this together and if she did not agree I was not going to do it.

Needless to say it worked out for me in that situation. I must say there are other situations where it did not work out. It is not fool proof: at least not for me, not yet anyway.

To me a law is measurable, repeatable, and predictable. I think there is some merit in what is known as the Law of Attraction but because it is something I have not been a implement in a measurable, repeatable and predictable way I do not think I would call it a law.

There are some great ideas and some great teacher doing some great things but go into this with your eyes wide open. If you embrace this The Law of Attraction, go into it with your eyes wide open. Even if it does not work for you, it will help you create clarity of purpose, inspired action and a well thought out plan.

There are no shortcuts.
