Does graduating w/ Law degree almost guaruantee success?

And… on average, how much do new grads of law school expect to make in the bigger cities along the west or east coast?
misspelled "guarantee" in title… whoops

It solely depends on whether or not you can get into a company which is a high roller. You will make little, meaning under 100 gs a year and struggle without connections, the right law school attended, the right politics and making the right connections. Also, certain types of law pay little. Divorce law can be lucrative as well as working for a fortune 500 company and playing ball with them,…I know a divorce lawyer who gets 350 an hour and is always busy. Figure 400-500 gs a year.

The only guarantees in life are:
    1. Change
    2. Death
    The answer to your question…NO

HA! No. We were told that because of all the baby boomers retiring, there would be this massive teacher shortage…and my friends and I are fighting for jobs with thousands of other people here. Uh, no. Actually, just this morning on CNN, they were profiling a former attorney who turned comedian, and is having more success at it.

No it does not guarantee success. Work guarantee success. The median for graduation with a Law Degree (No a Pre-Law undergrad) I would say is about 60k.
