What is the best way to get images out of your mind from scary movies?
I watched a scary movie a few days ago and now frightening images are embedded in my mind. How can I get rid of them?
Whenever I watch a scary movie I have the same issue. Usually I try to keep busy or watch cartoons and comedies. I usually have the worst problems if I watch it in the night time so in the future try watching while it is still daylight and try to follow the horror movie up with a cheerful movie or show. Watching movies with friends help too because they will be there afterword to talk to about how scary it was and sometimes talking about it can help clear your mind. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Thats like trying not to think about penguins!
But seriously? Just distract yourself. Multi-task. Listen to music, watch youtube videos, whatever you do, just distract yourself. and yes. watch comedies!!
Just forget about the movie. It’s fake anyways!

Think about something else or entertain yourself on something. Just try keeping your mind busy at all times.

Find something about the image funny, then make fun of it.
